Welcome to the website of Paul Seiko Chihara, educator and prolific composer of works for almost every type of instrumental ensemble, vocal group, ballet and especially for film, television and visual media.

Composer and Educator

In addition to his busy composing career, Dr. Chihara is a full time tenured professor at UCLA, and where he is now head of the graduate program in Composition for Visual Media, which includes not only film and television, but also animation.
